“How many timeouts?”
That’s the question LeBron James appeared to ask coach Tyronn Lue after the J.R. Smith error that may have cost the Cleveland Cavaliers. The response? You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart breaks in half.
In new footage from Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, there’s an uncut look at the Cavs’ bench after Smith’s gaffe, and James basically didn’t say a word to Smith or anyone until that query to Lue. And then, as you’d expect, James looks furious.
That’s even more heartbreaking than James’s on-the-court reaction to Smith.
